  • Calibrated digital temperature display with a range of 20-42°C (68-107.6°F)
  • Display of temperature in °C or °F
  • Calibrated digital humidity display with a range of 20-70%

Precise digital temperature control is a key feature of the Rcom 10 PRO-Plus. The incubator is fan assisted and the shape of the machine is engineered specifically to optimise the flow of warm air.

The Rcom 10 PRO features easy humidity control via an external water tray. Simply pour water into the external tray to increase humidity in the machine without the need to lift the lid. Humidity is monitored using the incubator's built-in humidity reader and displayed clearly on the digital screen.

If you wish to upgrade the Rcom 10 so it has full humidity control you will just need to purchase the Rcom king Suro spare humidity nipple, the Rcom King suro humidity pad, and the Rcom APS pump.

Questions & Answers

What’s the difference between the Rcom 10 Pro and Rcom 10 Pro+?

There is only one difference between the Rcom 10 Pro and Rcom 10 Pro+; humidity control.

You must control the humidity manually for the Rcom 10 Pro. Although it has a humidity display, you must add water to the machine manually.

Whereas, on the Rcom 10 Pro+, the humidity is controlled automatically via an automatic pumping system (APS). The APS injects water into the machine for you as and when it is required to achieve the set humidity level. The pump will only start pumping when the humidity inside the machine drops below the set value. However, you can buy the pump upgrade for the Rcom 10 Pro later if you like since it is available as a separate option too.

What’s the difference between the Rcom 10 Pro and Mini II Advance?

The Rcom 10 Pro can hold up to 10 hen eggs or 30 quail eggs using the included multi-species egg tray. The Brinsea Mini II can only hold 7 hen eggs and 12 quail eggs but you’ll need to buy an additional ‘small egg tray’ in order to incubate quail eggs.

Both machines have automatic egg turning, a digital temperature display and both require the humidity to be controlled manually. However, the Rcom 10 Pro has an additional humidity display and the option to upgrade to automatic humidity control by purchasing a humidity pump. The Mini II Advance does not have a humidity display and it cannot be upgraded after purchase.

Finally, the Rcom 10 Pro also has built-in incubation pre-sets with a ‘species selector’ for fast set-up.

gail
very pleased with this incubator, nice compact size especially for quail eggs. love the built in candler. brilliant hatch rate from this product
Lois Pugh
As a first time hatcher I would definitely recommend this incubator. Very easy to set up and fully automated incubation period (or manual if preferred). Compact and quiet and the automated turning is a great feature.
Lewis Wescott
I ordered the RCOM Pro 10 on next-day delivery as I was having troubles with yhe incubator I was using and I’m really glad I did! It’s a fantastic machine and successfully hatched chicks for us. I would definitely recommend The Incubator Shop and will be using them again in the future - thank you
Sarah Cooper
My first incubator hatch, so I was nervous. The Rcom 10 was easy to set up and operate. The instructions were a little opaque, but the controls were obvious and the default settings were correct. It handled a brief power outage without losing its place in the hatch. Twice, the humidity dipped worryingly low and I put a bit of damp sponge in to correct (if I had it to do again, I might get the next model up - the one with the water pump). But during the critical hatching period, it held the necessary high humidity like a champ. Loved the built in candler, though I wish it had an option to stay on without my finger on the button so I had hands free to take pictures and whatnot. In the end, 7 out of 7 hatched -- 100%! That gives me a problem - I wasn't counting on that happening!
Jenny
Very pleased with the incubator, and have had first successful hatch with 5 from 6 eggs hatching. I also had very helpful phone advice from The Incubator Shop over a small query due to a slightly confusing instruction manual. Delighted!
Donna Murray
This was bought for me as a present from The Incubator shop, my partner said how helpful they were and what a fab incubator! Automatic turning on the some of the quail eggs some of them turned awkwardly but this was probably down to them being smaller than the others but out of 23, I got 10 living chicks, 3 didnt come out and 2 half formed, the other 8 were clear when I candled at day 15. Very compact and neat and how fab to have a built in candler! Very happy!
Samantha Hennie
Bought this as a starter kit, came with brooder, feeders and disinfectant. Just what I needed to get going. Very easy to use incubator, clear instructions. Very fast delivery...arrived next amid covid-19 crisis and Easter bank holiday! Very impressed
wendy hunt
Diabolical instructions thanks to Incubator shop for helping out. Just fix the incubator up and put water in the well the machine does the rest. Candled and 50% viable which is ok as eggs were sent by post!
Jayne
Great product found it easy to set up I had a Brinsea before and find this product actually better I’ve set guinea fowl will come back with a hatching rate etc Brilliant service from a great company easy to deal with thank you
Robert William Brewer
Bought one...had to get another.great little incubators.
Elinore
Wonderful machine, put eggs in, set it to the correct hatch, leave it until lockdown!! It’s so simple! Love it
Elishah
100% impressed with this little machine! First time incubating and successfully hatched all 9 chicken eggs (incy fits 10). I kept an open mind and prepared myself for some not to fully develop / hatch but all developed perfectly and the built in candler was an ideal addition as it made the process much easier to observe progress. After much research we decided to do a dry hatch so we didn’t add any water at all throughout the process and it worked fantastically! We are now three weeks in to hatching Muscovy duck eggs and again every single egg is developing well so far - It is indeed true what they say about this being addictive, I am already planning my second purchase from the Rcom Range at the incubator shop, something I can fit more eggs in! 😂 Excellent customer service, wouldn’t buy anywhere else now. Thank you guys!
Rebecca Lloyd
I love this incubator it's a very nice size for what I need it for, very easy to set up and use. This company was very quick and helpful with responding to any queries.
Darryl
Fantastic incubator, easy to set up, ours didnt have the water system which i heard can be a pain to set up, however we had this set up and running in ten minutes. The automatic bird selector is great and we used it for chicken eggs, from bantams to large breed and there is plenty of room. I will say it isnt the quietest on the market so do not set it up in the livingroom or bedroom. It keeps the temp and humidity at the perfect level and I checked these independently from the incubators indicater window.
Joe
Very nice incubator, easy to use. Combined with the APS pump to control humidity it couldn't be simpler to get a good result.
Gary Ellis
The incubator has some great features and is easy to operate. The 10 Pro is excellent for small hatches and the automatic turning feature is a big plus.
Diane
Just the best seamless operation out there. Great results as it takes out human meddling!
James Butler
Have been using the 10 egg version for over a year, with regular 100% hatch rate, would highly recommend.Best customer service from a large business I have ever encountered.
Denise
Well despite being the first time I've hatched chicks.6 eggs went on the Rcom pro and 6 lovely chicks hatched out last Saturday.Absolutely overjoyed. Also bought the brinsea brooder.Chicks are so happy under it.fantastic service and fast delivery. Thanks very much.
Iain Ferguson
I am not setting eggs until March but will keep in touch when I do. Thank you for all your help so far.
billy
what a fantastic little incubator, i purchased this incubator mainly due to its features and functions and i was not disappointed. very easy to use and setup. the only negative i can find with this was registering the product with rcom as thrie site would not load in english, no biggie really.
Geoff
Great little incubator.
Azeem
What a fabulous little incubator, i placed 6 very rare Malaysian serama bantam eggs and hatched 4, which I am absolutely chuffed with considering the eggs were sent by post and the fact hiw difficult it is to hatch Serama chicks. The best customer service I have recived till date, quick replies to emails and supperfast delivery. Could not fault. A special thanks to Tony.
Andrew Walker
Good product just completed first hatch. Worked well.Excellent service from The Incubator shop. Only issue I found was. The instructions (in english) are only available from a korean Website which isnt the best. and the translation is a little random. The machine is however easy to use so not to much of a problem. Would recomend the product and The incubator shop.
Jennifer Lucas
A great little incubator ,very easy to use just plugged it and watch it go . Excellent customer service , all my questions answered . Many thanks Tony
Emily
I brought this incubator as a package with a brooder and disinfectant, at the best price I found on the market. The delivery was very fast, I ordered on the Monday and it arrived on the Wednesday of the same week. I ordered the gift as a present which I wanted to go directly to the recipient, so I placed in the comments box at the end of the order, asking whether they could place a happy birthday on the box. The company went above and beyond wrapping the boxes in silver wrapping paper! Absolutely fantastic customer service. The person was so happy with the gift and cannot wait to try it all out in the spring. Thank you very much!
Phillip
Well pleased order Tuesday and got it Wednesday
Margaret Macdonald
I am delighted with this incubator. So much so I bought one for my 7 year old son for his birthday. He just completed his first hatch 5 of 6 postal eggs (great). It is compact, quiet, easy to clean & has good visibility. Many thanks for the very efficient service The Incubator Shop.
Adam
Great product! First time hatching ducklings and had a very high success rate. The delivery was fast and Tony has been a massive help throughout the incubation and hatching period with his great knowledge and advise. Definitely a five star product that didn’t disappoint.
Keith
Just hatched six out of ten Indian runner duck eggs using this neat little incubator. The instruction manual is a bit haphazard (translated from Japanese perhaps) but the auto setting for ducks worked perfectly. I had to work quite hard to keep the humidity stable, but the temperature and auto-turning worked faultlessly. Thank-you.
Michelle Langley
Absolutely fantastic machine had four fertile eggs all hatched healthy chicks !!! Candle light is brilliant makes viewing the fertile eggs easy.
tracy owen
does what it says straight out the box quick to set up and just had our first hatch from it would recommend
Steve Cook
Just hatched our first chicks using this brilliant kit. Everything is so simple, you just set it and leave it to do its thing. Service from the folks at the incubator shop went above and beyond to help us get it in time.
Lesley Henry
First time using an incubator and successfully hatched eggs at the weekend. Very straightforward to use. Excellent support from the Incubator Shop.
Hayley
The ordering and delivery process was problem free and easy. Really happy with the product, easy to set up and use. Just waiting for our eggs to hatch now!
Mo
First of all the delivery the incubatorshop was really good and quick ( i chose the next day right before cut off) This little machine is a high tech but simple machine, it handles everything. This machine already has recommend and saved programs for the birds you want to hatch. So setup is is a breeze. From automatic rotation, alarms if temp shoots up or goes down. You can set the rotation in intervals of 10/20/30 – 60 mins and also how long the rotation should be.( I set mine to 20secs per rotation)The rotation tray stops at lockdown without you doing anything. there’s no need to remove the moving tray as there is No gap between the floor and tray, so its safe for the chicks. The display is a very good size, you can switch the light on or off the display. It also has a very small internal light ( again you can choose whether you want it on or off) and the built in candler is just so convenient. What about noise? I decided to have this in my bedroom. there’s a slight humming sound very slight and when the tray moves you can hear it. But its very quiet, I'm surprised it was. To add water , there is no need to open the machine up as you add water from the outside. Its not loud at all I hatched my first batch now. 6 eggs where from abroad ( so chances were not great anyway) and the rest4 from my own flock. All of my own 4 hatched :) . the others didn’t ( kinda expected) I have now put another 10 of my own. Highly recommended , chose this over the brinsea simply because it had more space 10 chicken eggs compared to 7 and it looked more easy to use. Pricey compared to others but worth it :)
esther
The incubator worked well. I had 15 out of 23 hatching. 10 survived, 5 stayed in the egg and one broke near the beginning 2 seemed infertile. the manual is not detailed enough so I didn't know whether I used all the possibilities regarding the buttons. I put the incubator on a day before the eggs and then didn't reset when I put the eggs so the turning stopped 1 day earlier than it should have. The humidity didn't seem to get as high as some people advise at the end so I raised it by putting a damp cloth among the eggs. Thanks I still have 10 chicks.
