The Rcom 20 PRO digital incubator is one of Rcom's most advanced incubators and one of the most accurate incubators available today. The Rcom 20 PRO has two sensors, one for detecting the surrounding environment and the other for internal incubator conditions. It is designed to be easy to use and simple to use. The Rcom 20 is a fully automatic egg incubator with a full digital temperature, humidity and egg turning control.
Main Features
The Rcom 20 PRO features fully-automatic egg turning via its highly efficient moving-floor mechanism. The egg turning angle is completely adjustable up to 360° and the turning intervals can also be adjusted easily. It also has an embossed, non-slip floor to prevent injury and deformity of the chicks' legs.
The Automatic Artificial Intelligence mode lets the user select from a range of species in the Rcom 20's menu. The incubator then automatically adjusts to the best settings for that species, ensuring optimum temperature, humidity and egg turning. Species include Chicken, duck quail, pheasant, peafowl, goose, wild goose, golden pheasant and turkey. This mode will also automatically on the last 3 days of incubation turn the egg turning off and increase the humidity up to the required percentage for hatching. Alternatively, "Manual mode" allows you to pick your own settings to suit any other bird.
Within the Rcom range of incubators, there are a few that are similar. In the Rcom 20 range, you have the Rcom 20 PRO and the Rcom 20 MAX, which is a slightly different machine. You also have the Rcom 50 PRO and Rcom 50 MAX, which are the larger versions of the Rcom 20’s.

These machines are very similar. Both have digital displays, automatic egg turning, automatic humidity control and hold the same amount of eggs. The difference is that Pro version has been designed for breeding falcons or exotic birds that can be more difficult to hatch and often require very specific settings.
The Rcom 20 Max has a temperature display, humidity display and indication lights for water level, egg turning and heating. You simply set the temperature and humidity levels to match your requirements. The Rcom 20 Pro has a much more specialised program which includes a species selector from which you can select your desired species and the machine will automatically adjust to the recommended settings for that species. The Pro will also count down the days, turn off the egg turning 3 days before hatch and increase the humidity on your selected day.
The main attraction of the Pro is that it offers much more tailored turning options. You can set the machine to turn the eggs from 45° up to 180° at 15° intervals (based on a typical hen-egg size). There is also more flexibility on when the eggs turn; it can be set to turn every 20 minutes to every 3 hours. Whereas, on the Max version, the turning is only able to turn 180° at 1-, 2- or 3-hour intervals.
The first difference between the Ovation 28 Advance and the Rcom 20 Max and Pro is the egg capacity. The Ovation 28 holds more eggs; up to 28 hen-sized eggs or equivalent. The Rcom 20 Max and Pro models can hold up to 20 hen-sized eggs, or equivalent.
The other difference is the that both the Rcom 20 Max and Pro have a humidity display and automatic humidity control, whereas the Ovation 28 advance has a humidity display, but the humidity must be controlled manually. Finally, the Rcom 20 Pro has a ‘species selector’ feature and specific settings for egg-turning; both of which are unavailable on the Ovation 28 Advance.
The first difference between the Ovation 28 EX and the Rcom 20 Max and Pro is the egg capacity. The Ovation 28 holds more eggs; up to 28 hen-sized eggs or equivalent. The Rcom 20 Max and Pro models can hold up to 20 hen-sized eggs, or equivalent.
The Ovation 28 EX, the Rcom 20 Max and the Rcom 20 Pro all have a humidity display and automatic humidity control. But, the type of control is different as the Ovation uses a pumping system whereas the Rcom 20 Max and Pro both use a heated water humidification unit instead, giving them more precise control.
Finally, the Rcom 20 Pro has a ‘species selector’ feature and specific settings for egg-turning; both of which are unavailable on the Ovation 28 EX.
These machines are very similar. Both have digital displays, automatic egg turning, automatic humidity control and hold the same number of eggs. Both incubators are designed for breeding falcons or exotic birds. These are typically more difficult to hatch and often require specific settings.
The Rcom 20 DO – Pro, like the Rcom 20 Pro, still has a specialised program that includes a species selector. From the species selector, you can select your desired species and the machine will automatically adjust to the recommended settings for that species. But on the DO it is much more advanced with the LED ambient light display indicating by colour the current stage of incubation as well as the machine’s current status.
Another difference is the Rcom 20 DO is operated using a jog dial and membrane buttons rather than just membrane buttons like on the Rcom 20 Pro. This allows you to select and change all options with ease.
The last difference is the Rcom 20 DO’s come with a built-in fully integrated candler. Meaning there is no need for a separate battery-powered candler.

I have had cheaper incubators in the past and decided to spend a little more to take away the worry. This incubator certainly does that. I plugged it in, filled with water and selected chicken, the incubator turns the eggs every hour keeping the temp and the humidity precise (this is something I have always struggled with ). If your eggs are fertilized this incubator with bring you chicks. WOW |

Bought a new one of these recently and it has worked well. I decided to buy from the incubator shop as I had bought an used one of these earlier from a private individual and had problems with it. The Incubator Shop answered every phone call and tried to help with advice and parts. Unfortunately, my dodgy purchase could not be rescued and I bought the new one, which I am very happy with. |

I must say what a easy piece of kit to use so easy and with great results I’ll give 5 (stars) |

Highly recommended. No messing about. Programme which type of eggs you are setting. Keep the water level topped up. 23 days later chicks hatch. This is the second RCom 20 which I have had and wouldnt buy a different make / model. |

Rcom 20 pro not used yet but Staff at the incubator shop very helpful in getting back to you on any questions asked regarding the products they sell |

It's good, the floor might be a bit slippery for very small chicks such as quails. Also I would like have it give me sound warning when hatching day closing to remind me when to remove the egg tray. I can turn off the sound every time egg turns but it turns off all the sounds as well. Nice visible window. |

This machine is amazing! It came well packaged and quickly too. The only downsides are its a bit heavy. The water was hard for me to fill without overflowing, but just be mindful. ALSO when it turns, It jingles. Which is cute... but not every hour so be mindful if it's in your bedroom. |
