Features
The Egg Stabiliser from River Systems is designed to protect eggs under incubation by holding them firmly in place in an individual egg tray while the egg carrier unit oscillates.
How an egg is stabilised within the tray differs slightly – depending on egg size.
- Large eggs (e.g. goose) are placed in the centre of a stabiliser frame
- Medium sized eggs (e.g. hen) are placed in the centre of a stabiliser and held in place by an elastic band threaded around 4 hooks on the stabiliser frame.
- Small eggs (e.g. quail) – four eggs are placed within the stabiliser and held in position by an elastic band twisted once around the 4 hooks on the stabiliser frame.
Egg stabilisers are compatible with all ET incubators.
