The Rcom Reptile MAX 60 incubator is specifically designed to create the perfect environment for reptile egg incubation.
The Rcom Reptile Max 60 is fitted with the latest Rcom technology to highly increase the chances of a successful hatch. Its main features include a built-in temperature and humidity sensor, fantastic visability; and an innovative new temperature range function that replicates nature by altering the temperature across the day.
Temperature Control:
Precise and stable temperature control is a key feature of the Rcom MAX 60 reptile incubator. Additionally, the incubator's shape is designed to maximise air flow for optimum temperature distribution.Temperature is controlled easily with the digital controls on the top of the incubator. The temperature is measured via a swiss-made sensor, placed next to the eggs in the vermiculite, for the most accurate reading. The measurement is then displayed on the Rcom's digital incubator display.
Humidity Control:
Humidity control is achieved by adding water to the incubation substrate (vermiculite) at the beginning of incubation and once every 4 weeks. Humidity is measured via the swiss-made sensor and displayed on the Rcom's top panel. If humidity drops below the desired level, more water can be added to the vermiculite.
Note: The mesh egg dividers (pictured above) are an optional extra they are not included with this incubator. However, studies have found the incubation of most reptile species is more successful without dividers.

I bought this to incubate tortoise eggs, after a previous incubator broke down after only a few months' use. This model seems perfect for my needs - it's neat in size and quick and easy to set up. This incubator gives accurate readings on internal temperature and humidity. It beeps to alert you if the temp or humidity goes outside the parameters you set. Good, fast delivery and communication from the company who supplied it. It seems to be doing a good job so far. |

I used this incubator 3 times to hatch tortoise eggs. It holds temperature set accurately and humidity display is also accurate but needs to be top up. I incubated tortoise eggs at 30.5 degrees and 75 humidity and it took 60 days. All babies hatched. Would recommend this incubator. |

Really pleased with this item. Needed some customer support to begin with just for piece of mind. Confident that you can just leave it plugged in 24/7 and your house won’t burn down! |

My second one as I wanted back up for extra eggs. I am very happy with the first one, in its third season now and working well. Instructions are a little tricky but once it is set up it is easy and reliable. |

Bought this after lots of research following my tortoise laying eggs in the garden for the first time in 20 years! Followed the video for set up and let the incubator run for a day but the humidity was way too high, so started again with less water and now it is at a stable temperature and humidity. I have learnt that I just need to add a little water to one corner every few days to keep the humidity within range. I am very impressed with this incubator - I check it every morning and evening but feel confident to let it do its thing! Fingers crossed for baby tortoises! |

After trying various shop bought and home made incubators over several years with no success I decided to give this incubator a try. After a bit of tweaking the settings with the addition of independent humidity and temperature monitors and ignoring the water to vermiculite suggestion which was way too wet for my tortoise eggs I have finally managed to hatch 7 tortoises from two separate clutches. Although a bit fiddly I recommend this incubator. |
