I have been using old (marked) eggs to encourage my free-ranging little hens to lay where I want them to, rather than hiding their eggs in amongst our straw bales, so I know the method works. I was worried that the old eggs would stinkily break, so I bought a couple of ceramic ones as a replacement. The dummy eggs are the perfect size and weight, and easily mistaken for the real thing (so I will also mark these, lol). |

Just what I needed to match my bantam's eggs. I needed to encourage them to lay in one place, and this is doing the trick. Just remember to mark the dud one, as it is very lifelike! Great service, quick delivery. |
