The Ovation 28 EX incubator is fully automatic.  It comes with full digital temperature and humidity display, a built in pump for automatic humidity control and automatic egg turning. The egg turning can also be set to turn at various intervals controlled via the digital display menu.

Maxi II Eco

The Brinsea Maxi II Eco is ideal to use as a hatcher because it is easy to clean and it has the perfect visibility that allows you to see the chicks hatching.  It can also be used as a manual turn incubator if required.

 The temperature is controlled by an extremely accurate electronic temperature control, this can easily be adjusted by turning the screw on the top of the incubator. The machine is already pre-set at 37.5°C and is visible on the liquid in glass thermometer supplied. (See full description here)

The Maxi II Eco can hold up to 30 hen sized eggs and up to 90 quail eggs making it the perfect machine to use as a hatcher when used in combination with the Ovation 28 Ex as a setter.

The eggs will be set in the Ovation until the last 3 days, when you will remove them and place them in the Maxi II Eco for hatching. This then keeps the Ovation clean and ready to put more eggs in straight away without having to change any settings.  

Using the Maxi II Eco as a hatcher with the Ovation 28 as your setter also allows you to do multi-stage incubation, thus making it easy to incubate and hatch different batches simultaneously.
